Favorite Art Supplies

I wanted to share some of my favorite art supplies that I am currently using in my studio. I’ve shared on my instagram supplies that I use, but I knew a blog post would be great too! Keep checking back as I’ll add more to it as I go along and find new favorites!

Supplies for tiny art:

• Peg & Awl tin/paper + boards

• Artist tape

• Princeton Velvetouch brushes (5/0 spotter)

• Prismacolor Turquoise pencils (2B and 3B being my favorites to sketch)

• Kneaded eraser

• Pocket mister

• Brush cleaner

• Paper towel, rag, etc

Art palettes for both gouache and watercolor:

• Wishbone Pottery painting palette

• Sylvan Clayworks crescent moon shaped palette (not pictured)

I made this metal tin I thrifted into a plein air setup for watercolors a few years ago, and now it mostly houses all my watercolor paints.

Watercolor paints

• Holbein Watercolor paint tubes that I put into the pans

• Tasha Cathey handmade watercolor earth pigments (in the round tin)

• Lua Watercolors

Gouache Paints

• Windsor & Newton Designer Gouache (not pictured here)

• Holbein Acrylic Gouache collaboration set by Rebecca Green (I won the Instagram giveaway summer of 21’ and this is what got me into gouache!)

Camera Equipment

• Shop Canvas Lamp for my overhead videos on Instagram

• Sony A7iii Mirrorless camera for my professional photos

• iPhone for Instagram videos
